THE BUZZ STORY

FROM A DEAD-END BANK JOB TO BUZZ ENERGY POUCHES

No big launch. No giant team. Just one tired employee in Hyderabad who believed there had to be a better way to feel switched on.

THE BEGINNING

So here’s the honest version. Vidit was sitting at a bank job in Hyderabad, absolutely running on empty. Not the good kind of tired — the kind where you’re staring at a spreadsheet at 3pm wondering how you’re going to make it to 6.

His fix? Instant coffee. Cup after cup, just to feel semi-human again.

It worked, kind of. But it also felt dumb. Vidit had grown up playing cricket and swimming competitively, so he knew what actual energy and focus felt like — and chugging instant coffee at a desk job was nowhere close to that.

It was a band-aid, not a fix.

Buzz didn’t begin with one giant lightning-bolt moment. It began with a guy tired of being tired.

That annoyance is really where Buzz started. Not some big lightning-bolt moment — just a guy tired of being tired, thinking there had to be a better way to feel switched on.

ONE FOUNDER. NO BACKUP.

No co-founder, no team, no one to call at midnight when things went sideways. Just Vidit, a rough idea, and a PG dorm room that basically became his first lab.

He mixed up the earliest versions of Buzz right there and handed them out to friends and family, asking them to be brutally honest — and they were.

Once the product felt decent, Vidit did the most founder thing possible: he grabbed a bag of pouches and started walking into shops near gyms all over Hyderabad, asking them to just try stocking a few.

THE TURNING POINT

Shop owners started calling back — not to complain, but to reorder.

And then it happened — shop owners started calling back. Not to complain, but to reorder.

Bulk repeat orders, from people who barely knew him. For one guy building this out of a dorm room with zero safety net, that was the moment it stopped feeling like a crazy idea and started feeling like something real.

TIME TO GRIND IT OUT

Once the repeat orders kept coming, Vidit knew he couldn’t keep running this out of a dorm room forever.

So he got to work — tightening up the formula, figuring out real production, and slowly turning “guy selling pouches near gyms” into an actual business.

Funny how it started, right? A tired bank employee just trying to get through the day ends up building something people were genuinely asking for more of.

STRAIGHT FROM THE FOUNDER

A MESSAGE FROM VIDIT

Honestly, I still laugh about it — Buzz became “real” the day a shop I’d basically forgotten calling on rang me up asking for more stock.

No big pitch, no fancy launch. Just someone I barely knew believing in this enough to reorder.

I built this alone, but I never felt alone doing it. To everyone who tried a pouch, passed it to a friend, or placed that first repeat order without me even asking — thank you.

We’re just getting started.
